The City of Minneapolis will rehabilitate the historic Nicollet Ave Bridge over Minnehaha Creek. The city will replace or repair all structural elements of the bridge. The rehabilitated bridge will be 60’-4” wide. The bridge will have: 6-foot wide protected bike lanes, 8-foot wide pedestrian sidewalks, and two 11-foot traffic lanes.
The City’s Surface Water and Sewer division of Public Works is planning to begin work on Dec. 1, 2025.  Signage regarding upcoming work will be placed soon on the parkway.
